How Do I Transfer a PDF or EPUB Book To My Kobo Reader

Posted November 10, 2016 by kcklein in Uncategorized / 0 Comments

Hi Everyone,

As many of you know, I give away a lot of free books to readers. One way is when a new fan subscribes to my newsletter and they receive 2 FREE ebooks right to their email address.

But I get a lot of questions as to how to transfer the new book on to their reading device. Here is a step by step to all my new newsletter subscribers.

  1. When you get the confirmation email DO NOT DELETE THE EMAIL. Please read the instructions which states you must open the email on your computer (not a phone) and click the hyperlink of the format you want, in this case a epub file format. When you click the link the file will automatically download. Know where on your computer your file is downloaded to. You might want to download the file to your desktop for now. You can always delete it later.
  2.  Connect your Kobo reader to your computer via a USB cord and tap Connect.
  3. Using your file manager (Windows Explorer or Finder), drag your file to the icon representing your Kobo eReader. This will copy them to the eReader.
  4. Eject and disconnect your eReader from the computer.

I hope this helps to get your new books on your ereader. Let me know if you have any questions or any other suggestions to make the process easier.

Thanks again for signing up for my newsletter and for being readers of romance.
